Re: got back from the dyno

I'm glad for you Dave. I know you worked very hard on your car. Not only with the SC but with the front end as well. I give you major Kudos for a job well done.

245-250rwhp for a 5 psi sounds about right for a stock engine. I highly recommend that you finely tune your car first for that pulley before moving to 2.8 pulley 9 psi pulley.

9 psi will totally feel different and a lot more tuning will go along with it. If you do I highly recommend you get Water/Alky injection to cool off the charge.

    Good luck.

      good luck dmw319

What kind of numbers are you running off the 125 shot of nitrous and why did you get rid of the supercharger and not just combine both if thats possible

Does anybody have a video of them spraying there v6 camaro or v6 firebird

I would also like to see A supercharged v6 camaro or firebird I checked on youtube but came up with nothing. I want to see something street legal with my own eyes just to see how the tires react to the power. I wanna see 1dangerous v6 on video he runs a 175 shot of nitrous thats just amazing

Re: got back from the dyno

I got rid of the supercharger because i needed the money at that time, for some bills, no times with the nitrous yet, still recovering from a stroke, maybe next month I'll get some N/A runs and some nitrous runs on the dyno.

dam sorry to hear that but how is your power now with the nitrous compared to the powerdyne when you had it.

I still wanna see videos of our cars performing like everyone says theres do Im not doubting them because I know its possible but I just wanna see for myself. I can't believe we got all these induction sections and nobody has a clip of there car putting down power or at least racing against other types of cars.

Re: got back from the dyno

I dynoed at my friends shop, I placed their wideband at the tailpipes on the passenger side outlet, I dont have a Cutout. They never tuned my car, I have a stock tune, FMU, Supercharger, full exhaust, In-car Wideband... thats it. I assume I was running only 5lbs, because at the time, I didnt have a boost guage...I was running (leaded)110/94 octane mix.

I ended up with your old blower ssms5411. Finally got around to sanding it down and repolishing it to clean it up a bit and I swapped your headunit with my old one. It does feel stronger with the racing rebuild, but no numbers yet. I'll eventually get it tuned, get my meth injection hooked up, and we'll see what it can do.

That reminds me... anybody in here looking for a full 9psi powerdyne kit with polished headunit? I'll eventually get around to posting it in classifieds.

Dave... methanol injection acts as a liquid intercooler and sprays a water/methanol fog into your motor under boost. IM me sometime and I'll send ya a couple of the popular sites, or you can just search around.

how much would you sell the blower for? i just need the pulley really, but i could buy the whole thing, and sell my 6psi blower as one piece instead of parting out the pulleys. as far as the meth. eh.. i dont know about that stuff. throw some links at me though.i wont be on aim till next week.

My turbo kit will be done with Tiago in a few weeks, when its on, I will put up a ton of videos for those that need to see the power that S/C's and turbo's make.

i dont know about this meth stuff. i dont really have the money anyways.

qestion: since im running 6 psi, and im only getting 5 or 5.5, when i go to the psi pulley, i will probably only be pulling like 8 or maybe 8.5 because no one ever really gets true amount... so why dont i just get a 10 psi pulley, that way i can get the full 9psi out of it? im custom ordering a ribbed pulley anyways.. so.. hm.. your opinion?
