need some help building 3.4 turbo motor

im looking to build a turbo 3.4 car. i would like to build a motor for the aplication so im gona pick up a used 3.4 and rebuild it. this will be my first forced induction motor. i would like to run some where in the ball 10-15 psi.

do i have to lower compression? if so how should i do so? should i lower it by using a differant piston. also where can i get a good strong crank, conecting rods, piston, and cam. i would like to heard what mistakes you guys made and learned from your setups.

also i would like to run a set of aluminum head but i would like to keep the factory intake. are there any aluminum heads on the market i can use.

lowering compression all depends on how much boost you wanna run, over like 9-10 psi, yes lower compression to 8.5:1 by swapping pistons. There are no alumin heads on the market yet, and I dont think there will be for the 3.4. I would definetly read up on turbo chargers, waste gates, compression etc. I have yet to install my turbo kit, I just spun a bearing so it wont be till next spring, you need to find a turbo kit, turbo, WG, I/C, FMU, fuel pump, etc etc. Lots to go.

are you using the stock plenum? aslo is what intake manifold is that on the greencamaro mock up

no i'm not using a stock plenum...the green car is actually tiago car and the pics are mocks of my kit....he's using the same plenum i'm using which is a stock plenum modified to fit an LT1 2x58mm TB on.

where you get it and do you have pictures of it?

you have to have it custom made...the pics on my cardomain site are the only pics i have of my setup at this time
