  • Anyone ever see these? No NOT ELECTRIC!

Ok, so has anyone ever seen these?

    http://www.forcefeedit.com/

They kinda remind me of the powerdyne, just with the belt outside. The only thing.... they only support upto a 4.0L engine which is good for us.

I know I am probably asking for :spank: but I thought I would see if anyone else has seen this.

Interesting concept........I wonder if they are any good. Since they are using "off the shelf" turbo parts, I wonder if they need oiling in addition to being belt driven.

This one can work. I couldn't find it in the site what the cfm is. It does look like a turbo in a way but acts like a centrifugal SC.

I guess the site made an indirect reference to Powerdyne's head unit where it said that the belt can cook. IF that's the case then might as well just cut off the covering. But Powerdyne experienced more bearing failure than belt, which is good for 60-80k miles.

OFF TOPIC: I heard Powerdyne co. has been bought by CAPA in Australia. So there's going to be a lot upgrades and improvements going on and stuff for us PD users to buy. That's just what I heard.

I heard powerdyne had moved and their website was down. I bought a powerdyne headunit from a guy that lived minutes away from them and he told me they were moving away from him.

Yeah, the company itself is only 60 miles from me. Too bad I didn't bother to make a road trip there.

Pretty typical of SC company being bought. Like ATI buying off procharger, Paxton being bought by Novi, and now Powerdyne by CAPA. But you know what, every time a SC company get bought off, the product tends to get better.

back to the topic...its nothing but a really poorly designed rip off of a centrifugal s/c...stick with a powerdine or procharger...much better

I give it credit for simplicity.

Of course I'd be cautious about a dry head unit (one that does not use oil for lub). Paxton tried it and were plaque with problems. PD was plaque with a lot of problems took them awhile to do it right and are doing fine now.

*sigh* No just no. Look at their shop cars. If you want a supercharger then buy a supercharger from the people who actually make superchargers. If you want a turbo then buy a turbo from the poeple who actually make turbos. If you want this then I'll take a dump in a snail shell, chrome it and charge you $600.
