1. Shane DID NOT HAVE an FFF kit.
2. The best ET's the FFF kit have produced on a stock or lightly modified V6 fody have been 14 second ET's. (Your car is neither.)
3. A cam IS a major modification.

Most Importantly, however:
5. The Powerdyne is mass-produced and ready to buy, unlike the FFF kit where people have waited up to a year or even longer to get a kit built and then end up selling them because pieces (ie piping) don't fit correctly. (Check the For Sale section). There's one in there almost every week and they even list what the problems were.
6. The record is held by a "supercharged"/nitroused car. ;) And now almost everyone with a turbo (who badmouthed the car and the driver) is looking to add N2O to "try" and duplicate the setup. Ironic... so the original statement you made holds no merit. :D

err not sure where you get your info but there is at least 2 FFF cars with stock motors running mid- low 13's with 2.0 60 foots

people that complathere pipes did not is becuase the pipe were for 2000+ cars only any other year and they need tweaked, that was never held back from any one....

Tiago jut made my second kit by hand on it took 4 months, he told me it would take that long when i ordered

That's good, but who are they? I'd like to see their mods because as far as I can remember (which is a pretty long time), no one was breaking 13's with the kit unless they had extensive work done in addition to the blower kit. "Shakedown runs" were a disaster - netting only low to mid 14's from many members.

Out of curiousity, though, why order a 2nd kit?

first kit was bolted up to the pace setters, this new kit is a forward sweepin header kit......FTW...by the way

People have too many problems with turbo here.

I love it though that the fastest F-body happened to be Supercharged--ATI F1. Beating the turbo LS1

It took 46 psi of turbo Lt1 to beat a 28psi Vortech Lt1 and it's only by .8

Turbo are dyno queen but if turbo and SC were running the same boost most likely SC will take it.

Fastest stock 3800 II (no cam or heads) is 11.2 with 14psi on a Paxton 2000. Too bad it's a Monte Carlo.

you can compair psi all day but psi mean nothing air flow and LB/min are what really matter...... so the turbo on the car was brobly a bit to small dont matter what your compairing

lets see shane ran what 10 psi for his 12.5 run ? so in your thinking every PD should be high 12 car

Way to be humble. You seem to forget that you have a FULLY BUILT MOTOR on 20 psi of boost. :eek: The Powerdyne is proven by itself. The FFF kit has too many issues and people are doing a ton of additional mods to support it and boost the hell out of their cars until they blow up. I have not seen better than mid or maybe low 14's with the kit (unless it is a fully built motor with 20 psi, intercooler, full suspension, trans work, exhaust, cam, tuning and a load of other modifications, like yours).

My motor is BONE STOCK. I could sit here all day and say powerdyne+nitrous>ALL na,na,na,na,na.. but let's face it... that is just retarded and it annoys people that have other setups that work just as well or even better. So knock off the turbo>all bull**** in here, please. I don't like to see younger members being misleaded into buying a kit that has many issues. I've seen the wiring and hosing of that kit and it looks like a spaghetti dinner inside the engine compartment. No wonder there is difficulty in it's installation and many sales afterward.

1. i have never tried to hide.... but since my motor is down i found out it wasn't fully biult as i thought the only reason it biult is beacuse i have a very long term goal of 9's

i dont see where your saying the install is so hard? PEOPLE with 1996-1999 cars KNEW befoer they got ANY THING that the pipes would not fit, or if you had pace setter headers they wouldn't fit.

if they couln't figure it out and gave up thats there own faults, i have also seen about 10 people buy a kit and relize what they are getting into and turn around and sell it

the turbo make more power you really can't put a FMU on there and call it good so there is more suporting mods

lets also not forget my times where done on the same FFF kit everyone else got

I can read just fine, thanks, and I'm reading A LOT of spelling errors. How's that grab ya? I'm also reading that the car was boosted to 10psi intercooled and he stated the following: ""Yes factory valves but not factory valve train." And yes, there was tuning but he claimed to have needed more. Maybe Linx can chime in with some info. ;)
