  • ??? On Turbos

Hey, i was looking to turbo my car and was looking at turbos. and i think i have decided on a turbonetics t3/t4 60 trim, if anyone thinks i should go with something different just let me know. But i was wondering about would i need ball bearing? and also what would be the difference between like the stage 3 and the stage 5 turbines?

ps i am new to turbos if you cant tell

T3/T4 combo is an average sized turbo for our motors stock, add ball bearings and you'll spool up quick and have a nice torque band to play with. should u upgrade ur internals, the turbo will seem a bit small. T60 and T66 with ball bearings seem to be what ppl have learned to upgrade to for that extra hp up top and decent spool. ur turbo will have excellent streetability, but will leave a bit on the table in the top-end.

if you do decide to upgrade you internals I would recommend doing that first first, turbo later. Build it from the inside out so you will have a better idea of that size turbo your car can handle.

I wasnt planning on upgradeing my internals. I dont want extreme amounts out of it. So it would stay stock internals for quite awhile. So i cant always get a different turbo down the way.
