I work for Intense racing and I'm in the middle of my build up right now. It is a 98 fireberd. We had it back halfed with a 4-link of course it is a full out drag race application. It has our 3800 race block, IS4 heads, IS4 turbo cam, with twin gt35r ball bearing turbo's, liquid to air IC and an ATI 400 turbo trans, 9 inch and alot more. We are gonna push it harder than anything we ever have. Being rear wheel drive we'll see what these motors can really take. We've got out fwd at 9.22 @ 154 mph right now but the trans are so weak we haven't been able to turn it up yet. It should be very exciting.
Here are some pics from the start
you MUST keep us updated regularly on this!!!!!!!!!!!!! i know we've all wanted to see something like this for a long time.

I will, I'll be posting here regularly now that I own an f-body. The car should be done in about 2 months. 98% of the parts are already bought and we're doing the cage next weekend and then it's sheet metal time. It has aerospace brakes all the way around, tubular k-member, upper & lower control arms, manual steering rack and tons more going on it.

I'm shooting for 2800, but I'd like to see 2700. I'm doing everything possible to make it as light as possible. Estimated horsepower is 800-1000 for the first season. We're not sure how much the crank can handle but we're anxious to find out.
once u break the crank, will u push for forged crank development? forged stroker? maybe punching out the bores more than .030 and sleeving the block?
at one point intense was suppose to be working on a forged stroker kit but it never really came out of development. This was a couple years ago already that they first said they were working on them.
