almost blew it up. Need help!

alright well i put my new intercooler on today....its 31" X 12" X 4". Well anyways right after i put it on i took the car for a ride and it felt like it had a little more power to me and im set at 10psi (thats my spring rate in my wastegate) well i only have 36# injectors and we all know that anything over 10psi with a t70 is blow up time on 36#'s. Anyways i just boosted again after i have been driving for about 2 hours without boosting. When i floored it, i noticed that my boost gauge was flying and as soon as it hit 13psi (was going higher) i let off reallllll fast after i had **** in my pants (not literally but you kno) so then i came back, checked my vac. line going to my wastegate and everything seemed and looked fine. I pulled the vac. line off to see if the idle of the car would jump around and it did so that means theres no vac. line leaks when its hooked up to the wastegate. So then i figured it was just a one time thing so i went out for another drive to see if it would do it again. In 1st gear i hit 10 psi then slowed down again to about 30 mph. Then i hammered it again and same thing. It flew past 10 psi and i shat myself again. Could it be gthe temperature outside thats affecting this? its a new wastegate, its only been on the car for about 2 weeks so the valve shouldnt be corroded and stuck shut. Im confused. Would the larger intercooler and cold air cause this?? i know its doubtfull that its why its doing this but everything seems fine to me.

So then i figured it was just a one time thing so i went out for another drive to see if it would do it again.

for some reason there was water in my wastegate that got in through the vac. line (kinda weird) so it was full of water and this kept it from opening ever...thats why i was boosting so high. Good thing i caught it boosting that high before it went up to like 30psi lol....anyways i took the wastegate off, took it apart and cleaned it. Put a diff. spring in, put it together...slapped a air compressor in it to see if it worked...put it back on the car now it works better then ever
