  • is this all?

    ok if i have my turbo, intercooler, all the plumbing including the exhaust plumbing and a megasquirt system is this all i need to begine my turbo process if not what else will i need right away?

            its on the 3.4l and i cant get an hp tuner with it unless i send it off like that forum says also i heard you dont need bigger fuel injectors unless u really give it some boost and the most ill ever run will be 10-12 also i saw it wont hurt with stock fuel pump and what is a wideband O2 and what exactly does the wastegate do?

              wow, stock injectors wont go past 5 psi without a fuel management unit so you WILL need new fuel injector or a FMU.

              Your stock fuel pump will soon turn to no good, you WILL need to replace it.

              AND YOU WILL!!!!! need a wastegate, unless you have a small turbo and it is internally wastegated, if you dont know what a waste gate is, you are in some serious trouble. check out the thread on turbo dumps to read up on them a bit or www.howstuffworks.com

              do you have oil lines for the turbo?

                oh and a wideband (another thing you gotta know fo before buying FI stuff) is used to tune your a/f ratio (air to fuel ratio) in conjunction with Mega Squirt. If you ask what the a/f is this thread may get locked.

                        So do I need new injectors if i get a megasquirt system....and i finally found out what a wastegate is for sure lol and how much would a wideband o2 run me?

                          ok then say i have a turbo, wastegate, intercooler and piping and exhaust piping, BOV, megasquirt and a new fuel pump boost controol and boost gauge would i be set to install and would i be safe to run a 3.4 a 12psi?

                            you need a fuel management unit, not a new pump. bigger injectors are easiest. prolly want your turbo to last right? oil feed and return lines.

                            not to mention you need something to tune with... there's so much more im missing. but, no. you are not close. you need to learn before you jump into this

                              if he has any intentions of hitting 12 psi, he is gonna need the pump
