Re: Max boost for an L32 from a supercharger

Another thing, well since I'm pretty much set on my basic new setup which is going to include an L32 shortblock/rotating assembly, ported&polished heads, ported upper&lower intakes, ported throttle body, a powerdyne blower at around 14# (or hopefully more, whatever works), aluminum 1-piece driveshaft, aluminum flywheel, spec stage3 clutch, a lightened crank pulley if available, 50# or so injectors, some pacesetter coated headers, SLP S-bend, and the exhaust this guy has here - http://forum.camarov6.com/showthread.php?t=68086

im hoping for some low 12s, and amybe if i do everything perfect and tune it well I hope for some very high 11s. never know... maybe coated pistons? or are L32 pistons good to go for higher boost from a powerdyne/intercooler?

First off i would get coated pistons if you arent doing water injection

      second....ported throttle body...not a good idea

you are missing a fuel pump....

and i you are thinking way too deep into valve float, its something that not even high boosted applications AKA (30psi gtp) have run into

Fuel pump of course lol... what type of throttle body would be best for my application? Should I stick with the stocker?

stock is the only option..ported tb''s and 3800's dont mix

i hear ya... i wonder if anyone has attempted an aftermarket tb with a separate maf with a custom tune, and if that would benefit
