  • Some more video

Ok, here is some video. The car has a moderate tuned for 9 PSI (I'm not running much timing to ensure things go smoothly). with the streets cold I could not keep traction midway to the top of each gear....

First one is in the cab:

Second one is a few drive-bys:

      Re: Some more video

That is the sexiest thing I have heard in awhile.

Edit: And I just watched the drive-by video too, and I would suggest working on your brakes now. :P I watched you miss the turn, you should have shifted to 2nd, pulled the e-brake slightly and whipped it around that U-turn

        Re: Some more video

I want to see our cars racing some true muscle cars in video. I hear a lot of stories about how everyone has a lot of horsepower but you don't get to see them race.

What I am trying to say I want to see cars like 1dangerousv6 race against dmw or turbo v6 or against gt mustangs

the reason Im saying this is because I got my *** handed to me by an maxima those new ones they are fast and people with those cars always pick on my car but they want be winning this year

no e-braking it, you gotta gas it and swing it out like that, lol cmon now. well my e-brake does nothing to lock my rear wheels up when im moving (of course disengaging the clutch or taking it out of gear, as the engine would overpower my e-brake anyway lol

Don't spread your gibberish around. But, it is rather true. After you have taken the plunge and went the route of FI, this means that you are probably up there in the higher HP range which means, m5 is going to crap out on you sooner than later.....and no more smooth shifting like an a4 that has set shift points and shifts with the same amount of pressure through each gear.

                    I guess it's good I have a built T5 then :)....

Thanks for the comments. It's kind of hard to know when to shift a car with no traction. I was shifting early in the video to try and avoid some of teh tractions issues.

That is an awesome car. The nose lift every time you shift.

I think 12 sec. is very attainable.

Think about 20 PSI :). (that was only 9)

Hey all I definatly have to give props to Lance @ Abbott racing heads! They built me one hell of a motor!

Hell yeah, I love your setup. I wanted to do something like it two years ago but money tends to be the deciding factor more or less... You think you're going to see some mid 11s at the track? I'd guess that thing's got 11s in it, at the very least an 11.9
