im on 9psi right now so i know how you feel about traction. I have a A4 and as soon as boost hits anywhere under 50 when its chilly out it just breaks loose. Still cant get over how deep it sounds tho...
Juiced Rally Red 98 A4

Way too much to list....

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2263415
Linxs, Who did you use to get the built T5? G-force? If so, how do you like it? How's it shift? I'm looking into their built T5 kits for my setup and I'm liking their synchronized kit. Wondering to myself though how it will hold up to 7k shifts.
\'97 Camaro M5 Y87 3.23 LSD, homebrew CAI, highfloCat, Flowmaster catback, Pacesetter headers, specstage3 clutch and aluminum flywheel, !egr, 2kW system.

Possible L67 bottom end w/ abbott heads and a turbo in the works... gotta do more homework
am i wrong, but is that sound not compressor surge? That's why you are hearing multiple attempts at a release of pressure. Isn't a blowoff *supposed* to be one straight sound per shift? I'm pretty sure compressor surge makes the air go back towards your turbo and spin in the wrong direction.
Don't spread your gibberish around. But, it is rather true. After you have taken the plunge and went the route of FI, this means that you are probably up there in the higher HP range which means, m5 is going to crap out on you sooner than later.....and no more smooth shifting like an a4 that has set shift points and shifts with the same amount of pressure through each gear.
Don't spread your gibberish... Meaning he's wrong. But then you agreed.....

That's teh BOV. It's working and Greddy tells me that's the sound it makes. Yes it sounds like compressor surge. But it's not.

not all BOV's are a nice Pshhhhh sound.....mine sounds exactly like his, and i have it loosely adjusted to go off easier. Its different on different cars, different setups, different BOV'S etc.
for example....if im boosting a little bit up to say about 3psi, and let off real fast (i have a auto) then my BOV will make a nice Pshhhh sound, but its pretty quiet....But if im romping on it, at 10psi, it will make the sputtering sound. Its not a surge, its just the deisgn of the BOV
