if you look at the torque curve on the come site the top number of 278 ftlbs looks good but that's at the flywheel not the crank. You could spend just a little more have a turbo and get more power. Plus I thought our cars were rated at like 220 or 225 tq stock at the flywheel, they say their fully blueprinted engine was showing 217 tq stock.

this stroker kit has been available for awhile now from C.O.M.E. racing, but now we finally have a US supplier since C.O.M.E. racing is in australia.

          http://www.3800stroked.com is their website

our cars do NOT make 220/225 stock. they make about 165.

You car only made 165 flywheel torque stock? That my friend was one hell of a lemon....your rear wheel TORQUE should have been higher then that lol Now rear wheel horsepower that would be about right.

Edit: real wheel was a typo rear wheel was the intended

Re: 3.8 Stroker Kits a reality?

Looks like a nice possible addition to my setup. I didn't like the idea of a stroker since the ZZP kit in my opinion sucks. The swan kit actually isnt a reqorked stock crank judging by the pictures of the clearanced block. Looks good to me, and it comes as an entire rotating assembly not just the crank rods etc, like the zzp kit. Me likes, me thinks 300rwhp is a possibility now.

They are a sales agent for C.O.M.E. racing basically. I like their installation crew though haha

                    damn your dumb..

165 REAR WHEEL HP on most stock AUTOMATIC cars
rear wheel torque is low 200s or so.

THEY ARE RATED FROM THE FACTORY AT

                    200 CRANK HORSEPOWER
                    225 CRANK TORQUE

maybe you should look at the last sentence of your post and rephrase it.

it loses about 15% of power. With all the posts you have you still don't know..

Notice that the first numbers are talking about torque at the flywheel, the second number is saying that is wrong and they are making 165 torque at the flywheel....

It loses 15% power from the crank/flywheel to the wheels... not from the crank to the flywheel....

                      Now how am I dumb?
