That kit pretty much just bolts on, just make sure you have a whole weekend to do it since this is obviously your first install. If you wait around for a while you can pick that kit up used for about 2000-2500 though. Also read the sticky for the john d wrap and gooved pulley. As for the difference between a supercharger and a turbo... that is a very long answer check the stickies at the top of the site, they should have enough to answer your question.

If you don't know the difference between a turbocharger or a supercharger you don't need to be putting an aftermarket one on yoru car. Go do a search for information.

yea man, you shouldnt be asking those kind of questions. FI is a very very serious modification and i suggest you know the pros and cons of both systems before picking the prettiest whore at the couty fair (aka FI)

unless u understand that our cars weren't originally meant for boost, and it takes a lot of time, money, and all around good maintinence schedule, you would be in for a world of hurt. Not to mention that you probably don't realize that it can decrease the life of your engine and can cause detonation or a heavy knock (no more engine for you). Research it, then come back and talk to us. We'd be glad to help you in any way. I am no where near ready to put a kit on my car, but I have researched for over 300 hours on pro's and cons of each type of kit. The people on here know what they are talking aboiut, so listen to them

You put a supercharger on by using a wrench, sockets and following the instructions/manual? You could search on the internet on how to install one (if its not too much work)

We do have tons of info. here. So much so that you might get a headache overall.

But the best site for the how to install a SC, particularly a Powerdyne kit would be Grayman's site. Very complete and very straight forward.

Other kits around like ATI SC and FFF Turbo. These kit comes with good instruction and lots of people here who knows more about it.

I agree. If a noob can't ask a question about the differance between a super/turbo-charger in the FI section, and get a quick link from knowledgable car guys, what good is this place?

imo its a question that takes 5-10 min of research and has been asked numerous times, thats all
