Re: How much will you pay for SC brackets?

alright I will look into total cost of supplies a bit more. See what the cheapest place is for the steel. The first two were made using some spare metal laying in some bins at school. My dad owns an exhaust shop so piping is no biggy

I will look into it more and keep ya posted on what I could possibly offer

Keep me updated as well, I might just cop out of making my own if yours are cheap enough (plus my mock ups were aluminum and I'd prefer steel). Dan didn't have a CAD file btw it was a tracing with most dimensions that are needed to fab it out. I can try to scan them in and send them to you if you want though since I now have them (bought dans powerdyne so he sent me a set of the drawings).

I thought you had yours done from the pics I saw on ftv6....that last one with the band saw and cutting one cut looked good. What happened?

It's aluminum and I'd prefer steel. I'm just iffy about the aluminum (even though all my engineering education is telling me it will be fine and that steel if overkill). I'm gonna try it out and if I see any reason to change it to steel I will either get my buddy to help me out at the machine shop or maybe buy a set from you. The tensioner is where my real concern lies with the aluminum though, I'm afraid It wont like it when I use the hammer to adjust the pulley.

If somebody sends me the drawing with dimensions, I can draw it up in AutoCAD and in Inventor, and make both files available.

I'd have to measure it up, a lot of it doesn't actually have measurements. Its a trace with some measurements for hole sizes but not locations mostly.
