How do they increase the amps. Unless the fuel pump amps is regulated in some way, the pump will pull what ever it needs. You could change the voltage, more voltage = less amps, less voltage = more amps. But the pump is rated for 12 volts at some amp. To change the voltage and or amps, I would think would cause the pump to fail. If I wanted more fuel or pressure I would go with a new pump.
