I was looking at my setup today, and im not happy with it. Im not a big fan of the old FFF style turbo Y pipe, and the fact that my wastegate sometimes hits the ground if i hit a big pot hole or something because its parralel with my piping....So i was looking at my pacesetter headers today, and It will be fairly easy to take them off, and hack them up. I would the the headers and cut the primaries about a 1" away from the flanges. Then i can rotate the primaries flowing forward and have them meet. Im pretty good with mocking stuff up, and im a experienced welder. I have access to a Oxygen setaline tank with a welding tip, and cutting tip and also to a Stick welder. Both, i know how to use fairly good. I dont have my AC in there anymore, or my EGR valve, so it would be fairly easy i believe to do what i wanna do in about 2 days of work....
Now, where can i get the small V-band flanges to use to connect on the end of the headers where they would Y up then mount the turbo at the bottom?? those are the only things i would need to get besides some 2.5" piping.
