Hey guys...long time-no posting. I can get on at work again and just brought the car out and want to get it running finally. For those(most of you) that dont' remember me :) I have a 97 a4 with a t3 buick regal turbo and single forward passthough setup. I have 36lb injectors and an inline fuel pump.
I've had the kit on for a year and a half and am still working out the bugs. I have hesitation when i floor it and am not making much power. I've finally made gains at getting the 11.5 afr by dialing back the wastegate but there are still problems. Viper and some GP guys have helped me with the tune, and at this point I really think it's something else.
My question is this. Some trusted sources suggested rather than venting my pcm into the atmosphere that I hook a line up between that vent and connected to my intake track before the turbo to in essence pull the excess pressure out of the block and allow for proper oil flow within the block.
I know this is a good idea, but has anyone done it and do you think it is crucial for these types of setups?
thanks
