  • Boosted application: IAT before or after turbo?

I did a search and couldn't find anything. When I bought my turbo there was a debate as to whether the iat sensor shoudl be moved from behind the turbo/ic to infront of it to lower iat temps for the ecm.

Has this debate ever been solved? I moved mine to before the turbo...i wonder if that's part of my grief??

I would defetnaily put it afther the turbo/IC so you acutlly get accurate temp readings. That will also keeping your power up considering you should keep more timing.

THanks... i've talk to a couple more people about this and htey both agree with you. I guess i'll be moving it back to just infront of the throttle body then :)

It's amazing how so many people can have different opinions on the same thing :)
