      Hairdryer, more efficient.

Allthough turbos tend to own all but it's just a PIA.

There is no available roots type blower, but lots of people have remote mounted eatons.

Turbo is not that hard to do if you are resourceful and creative. I built a kit in my driveway only using a $129 MIG welder and about a grand in parts.

There are not a lot of people with remote mounted eatons on f-body's. I don't know where you got that. There are plenty with centrifical blowers though, if that is what you ment, but the eaton is not one them. The eaton is a roots type blower.

Check out TGO, I've even seen 2 eaton's on a V8. Besides, I didn't say fbodies ;), just lots of remote eatons.

There is an eaton root type blower V6 3800 on a 1997 TA. This was a mock up try. It came out from March 2004 GM High Perf. Magazine if I remember. Firebird GT has this article.

Holden as a root type blower on a 3800 rwd engine.

Like all force induction there are advantages and disadvantages.

Right now the fastest LS1 has an ATI blower. The fastest LT1 had Vortech. I think it was only last year that a twin turbo LT1 beat it. But it took 10 more boost to do it.

So how the **** is that info relevant?

You were challenging me to the fact that not many fbodies have eaton's on them and I was just saying that I never said fbodies.

And there are lots of fbody V8 running around with a blower sticking out of the hood (roots type).

Doesn't matter, I will still stand by my origional statement that there is no roots package for the v6 fbod, and the easier way to go is to do a remote eaton.

                    Re: supercharger

It's all well and good to say that but I see no room to remote mount it either, and I've been at this stuff for years. The easier way to go is a centrifugal.

I'm starting to remember why I stopped posting in this section. I still don't see how remote mounting eatons is relevant. It would take a **** ton more work to do that than to even put one on in the standard fashion. Anyway I'm done arguing.

that seems stupid to remote mount an eaton if your going to do a supercharger and want it remote just do a vortech or mach, they're meant to be that way. If your willing to tackle the fab of a remote eaton then just do a turbo, less parisitic loss.
