I have searched a bit and have a got a good idea of how to do the FMIC however, can anyone tell me specifically if this can be done leaving the bumper on?

Viper I know you have a FMIC, what were the general steps in installing it? My size is similar to yours.

What are the measurements? Some people put them in front of the air dam, in the hole for the radiator flow. That's really the only place you can put one without removing the bumper.

Mine is a 3rd gen, but I put it in front of the air dam as TH said. I then drilled 3" holes in the air dam for the pipes to go through...

Thanks, the car has been on stands since I found a spun bearing and needs a wash, though

If you put it in the radiator air intake its sleeper and only requires removing the splash shields from under the front end for installation. Pics of mine are on my Fquick. WWW.fquick.com/1SICK6

              Re: intercooler question

my intercooler is I think 24 x 12 x 3. Thats a rough estimate but I know its close. I am going to have to place it in front of the grill, I just dont know what to cut away and what to unbolt.

Isnt that size to big for placing it in the slot by the radiator?

So I guess I will have to take off the bumper....or maybe I can cut away the bottom and slide it up on in there and bolt it to some brackets
