Hey, does anyone know a place that still sells the powerdyne supercharger... I placed an order to lmperformance yesterday, just to have an email sent to me, telling me they no longer carry the powerdyne... :( Figures, I buy all the stuff to get ready for a supercharger install... and now they no longer make them??? Hope someone can brighten my day....
I just checked RK-Sports site and I can't find it on there anywhere and they are the ones that make the kit. It looks like nobody makes the kit anymore. How good are your fabbing skills? I have all the templates for the brackets if you want to try to make your own.

Welp, got a call from hawks... They said that they called RKsports... Maker of the Powerdyne supercharger, and said that they have discontinued the Powerdyne supercharger.... :( which really really sucks... Now, I guess my choices are... Buy me a Mach supercharger which I have seen some post about, or go on ebay and hope to find a powerdyne supercharger that is in great shape, or go the nitrous route(which sucks since I have bought me a boost gauge already....) So if anyone knows of a place that still has a new Powerdyne for sale, please let me know...
T-punk, thanks for the help and idea, but I doubt I could fabe the brackets up.. :(
I will be calling Mach tomorrow and hopefully talk to someone that can give me some good info on their supercharger.
Crewgirl So, do you sell the entire Mach kit? What is the name of your company?
97rs4life Yeah, the girl that called me from Hawk's told me (from what I can remember) that RKsport said that they where having some problems with powerdyne or something... don't really quote me on what she said, because I don't fully remember, but I guess something must of happened... :( Figures, i have printed out and started reading all the stuff from Graymans website, and have already ordered so much stuff.... and there is no way i'm going to pay restock chargers... Oo I guess I will start reading some post on the Mach kit... and if I can get a good price and it seems like a great charger, then I'll go that route.. If not, there is always the Nitrous route I guess...
The mach kit is only sold by Machperformance that I know of and is around 4500 bucks. What is your time frame on this and what kind of performance #'s are you looking for? The mach kit is capable of a lot more than the powerdyne and would probably last longer but you can pick up a used powerdyne for about 2k which is a great bang for the buck. As for RK-sport having trouble with Powerdyne, I totally beleive it. I've tried to get a hold of them and I've talked to companies like supercharger rebuilds and it seems like they don't get back with people and it is getting hard to get parts from them and really just seem to be in a state of turmoil. I'm looking into what it would take to put a rotrex setup together mounting it the same way as the powerdyne but that is still way off.

T-Punk Well, I'm not looking for anything real major. I'm guessing the Mach get comes with a 6 psi pulley and an intercooler. I'm going to be running a stock fuel pump with an inline BBK fuel pump. That's what I was planning with the powerdyne with the 6 psi kit. I was thinking maybe next year or after things where running really smooth maybe going up to the 9psi with an intank pump, but 6 psi is plenty for now, and my stock fuel pump with an inline to push the fuel most of the way to the engine should be good for 6psi, it should releive quite a bit of strain off the stock pump since the stock pump will now only have to push the fuel to the inline.
So I'm guessing the $4,500 is for the 6psi kit with an intercooler. I'm also guessing I will have to tap into oil lines. I haven't read a lot about the Mach kit yet, does it come with an FMU? I'm guessing it probably does. I was going to check on mach's website for some info, but it seems to be down right now. :(
As for mods, on my Camaro right now, I've done quite a few. My car isn't really stock. However the only engine mods i've done is SLP 1.8 ratio rockers, and CIA headers with 3" exhaust. I have a mail in custom tune, which I have to call I'm guessing it will be early next week, since I will have to figure what I'm going with supercharger wise. And other mods, and have a pretty nice setup for the drivetrain...
edited here--->as for time frame, I was hoping to get the supercharger installed about mid August or by the end of August at the latest.
It has been down for a while now. You will have to call them. It comes with the P1SC procharger which is self contained oiling (no taping your engines oil system). I think it comes with an FMU and yes it comes with an IC. Last I talked to mach it was taking over a month to fab out a kit. I'd wait a bit though and see how the third bracket comes along that some of the guys on here are working on making. Good luck, it looks like a pretty nice kit.

So my truck is finally getting some work done, after 17 years, Oil pressure sensor went out and it’s located under the lower intake manifold. Have to...
