He hasn't. RK-Sport bought the design and was farming out the machine work was my understanding.

Speaking of machine work how close to being done are you? It might be nice if you could get another set made for this guy.

Actually James Bawkey sells his product through RKSport. That's why when you order the kit from them and you have problems they give you James Bawkey's phone number to his Vector Performance Shop.

The last time I saw him and spoke to him was in 2002. That's when he closed his shop. He wanted to spend more time with his 7 yr. old daughter and I think he ended up working for his father-inlaw in Long Beach.

He said he was going to be installing lifts and suspension for trucks, instead working on high performance cars. He was getting tired of complains and giving freebees because high po. cars that people race around are always breaking down and he had to fix it.

On the day he closed the shop I stopped by to pick up a pulley from him. He said he was going to continue making the kit for RKSport if there's still demands for it.

So I'm guessing the $4,500 is for the 6psi kit with an intercooler. I'm also guessing I will have to tap into oil lines. I haven't read a lot about the Mach kit yet, does it come with an FMU? I'm guessing it probably does. I was going to check on mach's website for some info, but it seems to be down right now. :(

Im not sure if you have talk to bill yet, I thought the kit came with an 8 psi pulley and he use to offer a 10 psi pulley, but you have to get 36# injectors. It does come with an FMU and an inline.

                Edit

I think I may have found a possible 3rd mounting point above the A/C, but Im not sure if it will work yet. Im still waiting for my friend to get home from vacation so I can use his garage and take everything apart.

You dont have to tap oil lines it is a self contained unit.

Thanks for all the help and info everyone. Since I could not get a hold of a Powerdyne, I've decided to go the Nitrous route. :D

                    Thanks again,

Just don't go overboard with the shot and make sure you do all the fuel upgrades first. N2O is a lot of fun but only if you do it right. DO YOUR RESEARCH!

I still have a powerdyne for sale if you're interested. Of course it isn't new but recently rebuilt. Shoot me an email if you're not set in stone on the nitrous route.

T-Punk Yeah, I have read about nitrous for several years now, but had been set on getting a powerdyne system. Since they no longer make them I decided to head toward nitrous :) Just hope all goes well. I'm going with every safety device I can install :D

NCState98 Hey, thanks for the offer, but I have already ordered the Nitrous kit :)

Install both... or resell the kit. Either way you're spending less than you would buying a new powerdyne :)

Ahh, well enjoy the N2O then. And I can't beleive you still have that blower kit NC, that isn't even overpriced. I hope you can sell it soon.
