My new project

Thats right. Im at it again. I was gonna get a 3500 stall, torque arm, 4.10's and a new tune, but this was cheaper and I'll most likely go faster:







It needs cleaned up a bit, but it was too good of deal to pass up. All I need is a BOV (which I already ordered...50mm Tial), T-clamps, few oil lines/fittings and new couplers. Im not gonna use the headers shown in the pic, Im gonna use the Pacesetters that I currently have.

Some of you may be asking..."is he gonna ditch the nitrous??" The answer....HELL NO!! Just run a lil less of it.

Im gonna remove the 1st stage 50 dry shot and lower the wet shot to 35 (maybe 50) and run 10 psi. Im hoping for mid 12's.

Becuase I have a completely stock motor and I dont have enough money to beef up the bottom end or put in a good turbo cam :(

sure they can

some stock motors have been known to take up to 20 but thats pushing it alot

With good tuning and the fact that I wont be driving it everyday, it should hold up just fine. Its not that big of a turbo anyhow.

but i thought the issue with the mach kit was that it they could only run up to 9ps1 on stock internaqls and even then they needed to tune, up the injectors and put a bigger fuel pump?

Well, first of all the Mach kit...its a supercharger, this is a turbo. ;)

I forgot to mention that I ordered 36# injectors too. I already have a Walbro 255lph fuel pump.

I should have said with tuning AND fuel upgrades, it will handle 10 psi and a 35-50 without much trouble. That was my bad.

lame, you should give up your nitrous mod status ASAP, I am saddened by this news of a turbo in your stable. Your goals were doable with nitrous as well on your stock engine :)

That was pretty lame. Not to mention the new project is 100x better than his camaro was.

Anyway, have fun Chris. I look forward to seeing some good results. :banana:
