I own a 3.4 firebird, and I was woundering if the lt1 sts turbo kit would work, I planned on swapping out the turbo it comes with, with the one from the toyota tacoma kit, since I have read that the lt1 turbo is to big, do yall think it will work?

Re: sts turbo
you're going to have to give a better definition of "work." I know a friend who put a STS turbo on his 3.8 and ran a blazing mid-14 1/4 time.
Did his car "work" well enough to get to the track and back? Sure
Did it "work" well enough to get the money's worth? I think the answer is self-evident

Re: sts turbo
from what I know, and from what I have seen and been through...the STS is not the way to go. If your gonna do it one way, and the right way, make a front mount turbo setup.Juiced Rally Red 98 A4

Way too much to list....

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2263415

Re: sts turbo
Clean?? Where do you get that from? Cant drive the car in the rain, your turbo is visable to anything that walks by....not to mention the air filter sucks up anything possible....including when your on dusty roads.
I guess its a cool design?? But its inferior compared to a front mount.Juiced Rally Red 98 A4

Way too much to list....

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2263415

its not an sts kit ... its a custom Remote Turbo System

the sts kit is Not worth the money... ....
U can make one for 1/2 the $$$ of the sts
