hey, this is something I have wondered about for sometime, I have been following FI in our cars since before there was a FI section.
I know we now have a pretty good mix of setups out there concerning turbos.
We have guys with forward facing headers, complete under k member and one guy pulled his AC and it comes across to the front of the engine that way. My question to all our turbo folks is this,
how do you support the weight of the turbo and all that added piping. Just looking at the guys with the under k member setups that is alot of piping and alot of weight to be hanging off of stock manifolds or even aftermarke headers. I know the FFH folks have less of it since the headers go forward and straight into the hot side of the turbo.
For those running an IC you can support some of the weight by attaching the pressure/cold side piping to places to support the weight.
anyway how do you guys support the weight of the turbo and piping.
