Since we haven't done this I thought it would be a good idea. Back then when the site first started it was only Stefan(ATI - twin belt), Shirl(Powerdyne - RKSport), and I (Powerdyne - Vector Performance) with Force Induction. Tiago hasn't developed the Turbo kit yet for his 3.4 and for 3.8. It won't be for a couple more years.

I remember Nick coming in a couple of months later after this site has been up with a Vortech SC set up done by Climax Racing in his '93 3.4 Camaro. I forgot his name but this guy made a custom Vortech for his 3.8. He later sold his kit to someone here.

Today, Tiago's FFF Turbo crowd has really grown. We have people like Tim King aka Highhp and Tease with their twin Turbo set up breaking ground. There's a couple of guys like Ironman24 running and NCState running with Mach Performance ATI kit.

So there's quite a bit us now with Force Induction. Let's see those pics. If you have dyno numbers and track times post that too.



plz don't turn this into a Supercharger vs. Turbocharger - if you do I'm going to have to ask the mods. to delete your post.

here is mine old under K (not fff)
I had it for little over half a year and didn't like it because of pipes scratching the ground and going flat(see pic above)
here it is:



Currently im working on complete OVER K setup.
Setup is going to:

* keep the AC
* keep stock K member
* use stock 2000+ tubular cast manifolds
* 2x2.25" - 2.5" Y to the turbo
* 3" mandrel bend, all the way to the 3" cat/full exhaust.

Details on my site.
Work in progress. Right now I can say that its going to fit for sure. Just to cold to finish it up.

Best time of 13.5, Best dyno numbers of 292hp.

nice set up i have a few questions for you. i am goign to turbo my car i have a 3.4. i have the turbo i got it from my work. all i need it is the piping where should i go about getting it? also how did you hook up the oiling system to the turbo? and do you have a intercooler? thanks

I got the piping used, but it was made by Forced Fed Fabrications. I dont know if they are making them now though.

For the oil, I put a T on the thing that measures oil pressure on the front of the block. The return I drilled/tapped into the oil pan.

Yeah I have an intercooler, it was custom made by FFF too. Here is a pic of it:

Are you still doing stuff for WestCoast Fiero? I got a Fiero now and I do have plans for a GTP in the future.

Nice set up by the way. Did you just drop in a Series 3 from the GTP?

Darn Thor, I saw the name but ASSumed someonelse...hahahahaha I guess we are never moving on from the 3800?!!? Nice to see you still pushing the envelope. I still do work with WCF, not as much though. Pls bring that fiero by. GTP what? I know you meant TGP as in put a turbo on a one of 'em engines right? lol.
Yeah I just recently did a Series3 conversion (from a buick '04 lucerne) on the account of someone gave the engine away practically free and then someone wanting the old setup for a reatta project.

Mucho thanks...seriously though, a turbo is waiting for you ;)

Specs: 98 camaro. Bone stock motor. 15psi.
Custom built Forward flowing headers
Turbonetics Ball Bearing T72 (.58 hotside, .72 compressor, T4 flanged, 3" V-band outlet)
OBX Supra Intercooler (32x12x4)
Apexi Dual Chamber Blow off valve
HKS 40mm Race Wastegate
