beleave it or not thats what i did so thats all good now but how does the goose neck come out of the valve cover ??? cause im leaking oil out of it o and thank all of you who helped me out i really appreaciat it

you need a valve cover breather... check ZZP thats where I got mine..

yea you need to do the PCV mod and a valve cover breather for sure

If you did the JohnD wrap then yea you have to grind down below the oil filter for clearance

please help me to stop the code. The number is p1514 that code causes the ses light and the redused power light to come on and then it starts miss firing anny help would be much appreaciated thanks :rant:

common FI issue for 99+ cars

do you have hptuners? Do you have a blow off valve or bypass valve?

I have an idea.. I still have my computer tuned for that blower, I can sell it to you for $90 shipped. Might save you a big hassle tuning, or at least give you a good head start.

yes i have hp tuners and i could one of yall long in to aim its quicker

would that work cause mines a bird and a manual yours was an auto sry i havent looked into doing a pcm swap that much

get into hptuners, go under engine diag. then there is a tab for PO1514 code, max that whole table to the max that it allows. Either will be 4.1 or 512 depending on the format your car reads it in

I don't think this issue has been covered on this site, maybe 1 or 2 times before, so no biggy ;)

It should take care of your issue unless there is something else mechanically wrong with the car or another code

pcm swap would work, just would have to zero out the trans tables to make it work with a manual. However your pcm is probably tuned for the cam and such as well that you were running in it so it would be slightly different for his setup.

Dave, if you have hptuners you could send him your bin and he could look at it for pointers otherwise
