i was thinking

Turbine Housing A/R 0.84
Compressor Housing A/R 0.70

is that to big??

i just want to get all this together on my stock engine.. get everything to work and get all the bugs out( run it hard)... then eventually throw in a GTP shortblock and upgraded cam...

42# injectors.. from what i've read they seem to be right??

not sure on the maf? LS1? upgraded one for a supercharged 3800? what to use?

also HP tuners? is it hard to use?... it would def be cheaper than taking it to a tuner for sure.


i'm going to have DL performance(my cousin owns it) weld up my under the K piping for it.

Yes, that is too big. Max turbine housing should be .68 at the very most. I have a .68 with a stock motor/stall and it takes awhile to see full boost (hence why I have a dry shot of nitrous for the launch). V8's use .84 usually.

60-1 or 62-1 seem to be the "happy medium" for turbo's on our cars.

Depends on how much boost. I go up to 12 psi on 36#'s, but 42#'s would be better. If you are going to put a GTP shortblock in...dont waste time with 36#'s, just save yourself the time/energy/money and get 42's.

Stock MAF should be fine. A few people have been toying with LT1/LS1 MAF's, but I dont know how much better they are. You will need more hardware to get them to work as well. I know several people running 15-23 psi of boost on stock MAF's though.

I dont know how hard it is to use...I buy Viper food and in turn he tunes my car for me lol. I think you'd be better off buying HPT, learning how to use it and doing it yourself. Ask questions on here and FTV6, post your logs and people can help you out. There are enough people who know how to use it and can/will give sound advice. In the long run you'll save money and you can do it yourself instead of having to make time to go to the dyno.

i pretty much agree with everything shodown said .65 is the highest i would ever go on the turbine side to see a streetable power band unless its gonna be a full time track car which i doubt it will be

if those are the A/R numbers they sound better than your original numbers and that should be a very streetable setup i would think

def not a problem with the proper associated mods, fuel, sprak, etc as long as you have a good tune 350 wouldnt be hard at all i dont think...

Yep... all good advice here.

Wideband is a must...
HPTuners is the program to use. On my second turbo series2 now with good success with that tuning program.
Stay with the smaller exhaust housing.
Forward facing headers/manifolds.

i was planning on an under K setup... but if i can get ahold of a welder(the one i have is a 130amp non adjustable whic hblows right through the tubing) i'll weld up some foward facing headers...

yea that welder prob does suck for small stuff lol, under the k is ok if you are not lowered and dont have tired springs/shocks ide think about going over to avoid loss of your exhaust but under the k is much easier for sure

the kit I bought is under the K, but has a tubular K-member with it for clearance.
