What are you driving? I'd tackle the usual **** first. Buy an SLP airbox if you don't have one or do the free mod (cutting it yourself) Gears (depending on what your rear end has in it now) Differential, exhaust (depending on what you have now) Cam, then go on down the line after that.
I swear those electric ones are looking more and more legitimate. I remember when I saw them selling bilge blowers as superchargers, now they look like real car parts. If they'd raise the price alot they could probably find some suckers.
youd want to do other mods with the supercharger as supporting mods. intake, catbacks, headers, thermostat...basic stuff like that helps your car run boost without knocking. not to mention a tune is necessary. I'm running 7lbs of boost off a powerdyne with the mods you see in my sig and im getting 9 degrees of knock  at RPM's above 4k at WOT, but im getting a tune in about a week so its all good. you dont want to just throw boost on your car, take the time to do it right and get some supporting mods also and a tune so your PCM knows what the hell is going on :D
