Hey i cant see how a fwd turbo kit is going to fit on a rwd car not going to happend, your going to end up making alot of things anyway, I wouldnt do that.. Pace
tbo id like to see pics if you have them. i want to run the zzp z7 setup just because i dont have to go fishing for parts. if i dont do the heads im sure i will just do rockers to help the motor breath more. also a tb wont hurt. any recomendations on intercooler? i was definitly thinking about meth injection but i want to stay on reg pump gas so ill probably let it top out at 15psi untill she pops then build a l67 to handle 30
Can you make a set of forward facing manifolds for a turbo?if not I was thinking of going to an exhaust shop and having a crossover pipe made and splicing a forward pipe in to go to the turbo. Of yeah...what is a plog? Flyboy367 said he could get one from zzp, don't have a clue what it is.

With forward facing manifolds for a turbo, you wont have much room, That is why i made mine as it is. It works well the driver side bank is connected to the passenger side and one tube going to the turbo, so all 6 pistons are feeding the turbo.. and you have tons of room!!

I am in the middle of building a GN with a S2 3800 engine and turbo and just got done building the headers and crossover pipe. I ran the drivers side pipe forward and the two sides Y right into the turbo flange. I dont know how much of a room problem there is on the f-body cars so I cant say that it will work on them but it is a nice clean layout. I do have a question though, what are you guys doing about an oil return line out of the turbo? I have a few ideas but just wanted to know what the f-body guys were going as all I have seen or heard about was on fwd setups. I need to know what type of line, fittings, how you plumbed it into the engine/oil pan and what fittings and thread sizes were used. A friend of mine had a Cartuning kit on his GS a few years back and they used a return line with crimped on ends and had a brass fitting that threaded in place of the oil level switch in the pan. The best I have checked the threads in that hole in the pan are metric 20mm X 1.5 thread and wasnt sure what others were doing here. Thanks for any help on those few parts and ideas!
Since you are making a new hole in the pan is this something you do with the pan on the engine? I realize it would be best to have it off the car but in this car the pan is not coming off of the engine unless the engine is out of the car so removal is not an option. I like the idea of the return hole being up higher and would rather go this route. What are you guys using for fittings and line for the return?
You can tap the pan for the return with the pan still attached. I did it that way. Make sure you put vaseline on the drill bit and put a big magnet on the bottom of the oil pan to catch shavings though.
So my truck is finally getting some work done, after 17 years, Oil pressure sensor went out and it’s located under the lower intake manifold. Have to...
