        Re: turbo 3.4?

I did. I ran a 13.43 and hope to be in the 12's soon. Motor is basically stock besides a custom grind cam and crane 1.6 rollers. I also did a M90 supercharger years ago but decided to go turbo. Here's some pics of the M90 and Turbo setups. My turbo kit that I ran the 13.43 is for sale under parts for sale.

I've heard of guys flipping the exhaust manifolds, is that what you did? if so any mods to the manifolds or anything else?

          thanks, the setup looks great!

Yeah I flipped the stock manifolds and moved left to right. I also ground the ends flat and made 2 bolt flanges to connect to the turbo pipes. I ground the ends flat for clearance reasons.

I don't think I have any pics of the Y pipe I'll have to look. The A/C unit was trashed for space and weight savings.

ok, all the other acessories in the stock location? what mods were needed to lose the a/c compressor, what belt, tensonier, etc...

I moved the alternator to the A/C location because I needed room for the downpipe. The belt tensioner was also moved. I don't know if you need to do all of this to install a turbo. You might be able to leave the alternator in it's original spot and run the down pipe where the A/C was.
I had my turbo mounted high in order to drain the oil return to the timing cover. The serpentine belt was also changed but you can't measure for it until you have everything set. You really have to plan it out carefully.

I like the idea of leaving the alternator alone and removing the a/c
