You could use the powerdyne X something that is oil based and I think someone said it would fit on the brackets, no one tried it though, because the head unit was like $2000.

hmm this a very interesting thread with some quality answers. This is acctually the reason i sold off my powerdyne kit. I bought the intercooler and was planning on upping the boost on my kit to see how it performed. Then I always saw other people having bearing problems and such so I figured Id just buy a V8 and have more power and much higher reliability. I will say though, at 6psi I had NO problems with the kit at all, so for someone lookin for a touch of power at a very reasonable price they should not let this thread scare them from a powerdyne.

Powerdyne XB1A. Should also fit the BD11 and BD11A brackets. Can handle more, but hard to come by and pricey. Best I've seen is $1800.

The PD XB is pretty pricey alright, but also heavier too. Plus being gear driven it means more slippage. I remember Stefan did the same PD set up with his ATI on his Virus and experience an incredible amount of slippage.
I figure it would be the same for the XB, even with the John D wrap and groove pulley there would be some slippage.
The best thing to do is get the Super Rebuilt from 928 motorsport. Some people from superchargeronline claim it's the best thing they've done to their PD and experience and increase on power from the same pulley. It produces close to 1300cfm which beats the XB and some ATI and Vortech models.
I know my experience with 928 sucked so I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Just do it yourself, save money.
