Does anyone know which brand for a turbo will be good for my L36 3.8? If so, where would be a great place to get it? I'm not looking for a kit, cuz i have mechanic to do all the work for me to include the welding and power tuning.

Re: Prospecting for a turbo
Garrett GT35R is pretty badass (t3, .63 a/r, 68mm turbine).
Turbonetics 62-1 (t3/t4, .63 a/r) is becoming more popular and is capable of making very good power on a stock motor. A few dudes on FTV6 have them and like them.
The Master Power T70 is a decent unit for the money as well (t4, .68 turbine, .70 compressor). Also know that the MP T70 is a tad too big for stock heads/cam and stall. It takes quite awhile to build boost. I know this because I have one, I use nitrous to make up for boost lag and my stall helps quite a bit as well.sigpic

Re: Prospecting for a turbo
I was looking at pricing online and saw that the Garrett GT35R runs for about $1300, while the Master Power T70 is only about $700. I hear that Garrett turbos are arguably the best quality, but is it worth double the price? I assume the Master Power T70 isnt a ball bearing turbo like the GT35R.

A simple air-to-air intercooler is more than sufficient up to 25 psi or more.sigpic
