Ok i know this has been asked a billion times but i am going to make it a billion and one but first let me explain. I have every thing from a 2001 GTP including belt tensioner, blower, fuel rails, injectors, TB, etc. This would be going on MY DD so i can afford some down time with her. Could i make this work on my 99 3.8 for say under 1000 bucks i would be doing most of the labor myself except for any fab work. Once again sorry for a noob question but my case is a little different since i have all the parts her and lots of time on my hads to play around with. :spank:

Re: 3.8 Sc
if it is going on your DD then you can't afford some down time on her.
It can be done depending on your tools and abilities.

Re: 3.8 Sc
She is one of two daily drivers so she can afford some down time. From looking at the SC the only real issue i can see is the wear the TB is located. What all is involved in the swap? Do you think you could shot me a link or a contact to some one that has done it?

Re: 3.8 Sc
Try searching on your own just one time and see how it works.
All I did was search "m90" and voila! look what comes up. See post #4 http://forum.camarov6.com/showthread...&highlight=m90

Re: 3.8 Sc
Well thank you for the help. Add i did do a few searches and found little bits here and there. And thanks for being a jack *** about some one's first post this is why people dont stick around forums. I know about the heads and misc crap. I am trying to find direct info about the TB and moding the M90. Sorry maybe i should have asked a more direct question. For future reference you can open up the forum a lot more by helping and pointing in the right direction vs "try searching" or "you cant afford the down time".
PS thanks for the link see was that so hard.

Re: 3.8 Sc
So if if i was a total noob and didnt know how to use the search would that make me a jack ***. Or taking the time to ask a more direct question about a topic that i need help with on a public forum. After all isnt that what forums are for. I mean i could me wrong. Yes it is a noob question but i did look around for a second before just posting this. I also said thank you for the info i did get.

Re: 3.8 Sc
If you post the same question on FTV6, guess what...it will get locked. Dont think its only here that people will tell you to search. When people (n00bs) join up and their first post is something that has been discussed 9656347659807896 times, it gets a little old. You ask me if it was so hard to post the link, but its just as easy for you to search it yourself :p
Get your panties out of a bunch, search around, learn and enjoy your stay here. I hope your project works out :)sigpic

Re: 3.8 Sc
I think I spent about a year on and off looking at threads before I started really posting questions. Because most of the answers I found were in the threads. There is alot of info in the stickies also. Just take the time to go through them and you'll have alot of your questions answered.08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake
