As far as I've seen and read they NEED a BOV, but some people do have them.

      Re: bov + powerdyne?

I ran mine without one for a couple months and it was fine, but to reduce stress on the powerdyne people put them on and as did I. I simply welded two bungs one on the outlet piping and one on the inlet piping to the SC, then i put 1 inch piping to connect each bung to the bosch bypass valve. Also had the vaccum line on the valve obviously. On powerdynes its not so much of a blowoff valve that blows it into the engine bay its just a bypass valve to send the air back into the inlet when the car is under vaccum and not boost. This just keeps air from being forced back into the supercharger unit when not on the throttle, the extra air is just pushed through the valve and circulated around.

If you type "bosch blow off valve" or bypass valve into ebay a simple black plastic valve will show up, i think i got mine for like 8 bucks shipped. that will work just fine, no sense in wasting money on an expensive one..

Bosch is a waste of money. I've gone through 3 of them. THe diaphram on that thing tears easily.

Just get a quality BOV and BPV and let the air blow off to the atmosphere instead of reentering again. I have Typhoon. I used to know someone who used Greddy and it worked great.

You weld a small pipe at the bend of your discharge tube and install your BOV there.

best one to use is on the pass side. Its has a 90* nipple on it..simply make a t , reconnect and run the other to the bov..done.
