Custom supercharger

Do any of you guies have a custom supercharger settup and what supercharger did you people get?

There isn't alot of them out there maybe about 5-8 at most and I'm not even sure its that high. Alot of peolpe have the powerdyne kit but isn't made any more. There is a kit from MachPerformance for a Procharger P1sc also but I only know of one person now runnning it. As far as custom I know of two, one uses the M-90 and the other custom made a bracket for a Procharger D1sc. You can find most of the info about them by using the search function ^.

we made a custom powerdyne setup on my brother's old 99 bird. Can be done, but power wise you are better off going turbo

where could I find just a supercharger not the kit and if I can a used one?

Ebay or craigslist. Craigslist oftentimes has used headunits or some that are in need of a rebuild.

would it really mater what supercharger head unit I use? just as long i can it it mounted up?

I think as long as it's a centrifigul SC you'll be fine. IIRC, it has to spin a certain direction too, but if you're custom fabbing, you might be able to get around that.

You can get an ATI to either spin clockwise or counterclock so you can customize it to your set up, but you do have to let them know.
