LT1 Supercharger in a 3.4 or 3.8

I was looking through some things and I saw that it's possible to put a LT1 supercharger on a 3.4 or 3.8 with modifiction. Anybody ever did it? and if so how would I start?

start buy making your own brackets and tubing...

or what till spring/summer and gvperformance.com will be releasing powerdyne and procharger bracket kits to help people piece together their own kits

How much do u think those brackets will go for? not tryna sound dumb but you're saying that aside the brackets the LT1 Supercharger would mount a 3400?

well a headunit is a headunit, as long as you have the correct rotation. The brackets are what actually make it work with an engine. So if you went with an lt1 kit, you pretty much can only use the headunit.

bracket kits will be somewhere around $500 for them and they would be for 3.8 cars. 3.4 are out of luck again

I'm seriously thinking about going to buy me a 5 sp 3.8 Car because the 3.4's honestley arent too much of SHlT compared to the others......DAMN!

stay away from a 5sp unless you don't plan on putting down to much power. If you start heavily modding an m5 car, the trans is not going to hold. All the fast guys run an auto trans

very tru gentlemen. Anything and everything is hard for the 3.4 guys, lol know that when you begin to mod one. Second, its all about the bracket when it comes to a blower. I have a Vortech V-9 Reverse Rotation plumbed up to my 3.4 and it runs pretty stinkin well for a 210 CI motor. Its all about the bracket. I custom made mine. You have to think about tuning as well. I had megasquirt before the blower, so that's why I kept modifying. But.... without tuning your gains will be minimal for the $$ you spend. IMO, stick NA and do just heads, ported intakes, cam, exhaust, and posi w/ gears and have a fun, quick, reliable car to drive around in. FYI you can do the above with the alum heads too!!

Maybe I will keep it small n sweet and save the power for the T/A ( that I plan on gettin soon ) What kinda of gears should i put under it?

The 3.4 I have now....I mean yeah it's a V6 but the simple fact that its a Camaro makes me wanna keep it up to date on hp. I hate coming through work with my pipes yell because my Cat is cut off only to look over and see a Grand Am GT that'd wipe the floor with me

Do the upgrades I mentioned and you won't be upset. I don't have alum heads but want them. I have a 07 Saturn Aura w/ the 35oo and top end is amazing!!!! Wait until you collect the right parts, do it right and you will be thrilled with the outcome. BTW I have Richmond 3:37's in a 95 Auburn posi w/ disks off a Z28. Like em a lot! Good luck.
