Got my Coolingmist setup yesterday, a trunk mount kit with the variable controller was on sale for half price. Looks like a pretty sweet setup. I think I will have it come on at 6 psi and shut off at 10-12 PSI depending on what I run. Also got all my oval tubing ordered with a oval Y pipe that is 2-2 1/2" to a 3" oval to run under the TUB. K. Also found a good price on a silver Tial 50mm BOV version 2 with 10 PSI setting. I finally got my Dyna batt. hooked up front with a alm. hold down bracket(from a guy who sells them for $15 shipped on LS1.com) with my Optima Batt. in my trunk mount box with a 1 ga. cable running on the pass. side to the battery. Just need to take out the factory coolant over flow tank and mount my 1QT. ALM over flow tank, should give me some more room, also trying to get the A/C hoses shorten to make even more room. Was also looking at a 3 core all ALM. radiator with tranny connections for $250(will wait on that until I see what my engine temps run with the turbo in the summer) good price though. I hope to get everything completed within a month or 2.

Oh hey, I remember you and I having this installed in our cars. You had more success with it than I did. I ended up selling mine to a Stang owner.
If I remember you said in the past that you set to go on at 3psi? I think this will be great to your turbo kit. Now are you going to set it before the intercooler or at the discharge side of the intercooler? Because I've seen it done in both ways.

I'm going to put it after the Maf, so it doesn't go crazy when the methanol hits it. Some have put it in the upper intake but I think I will just go after the maf in the TB like a wet shot of nitrous. With the progressive controller it going to be alot easier to set it up, it has a on dial and off dial with how much flow to add. With such a big intercooler I hope the IAT's won't be too bad in a 115 degree heat. Also coming up from the tub. K the turbo will only be in the engine bay and the wastegate blowoff. you should just use a ls1 maf put it before the tb in your intercooler pipe and make a plate where your old maf attached to the TB and run the sprayer in there.2001 Camaro 3.8 A4

I'm going to see if I max it at 10 PSI first, I have a 99+ maf that suppose to give a little more room that I can drill a hole into a pipe, but I'll look into a LS1 maf to see how much room they give. I don't mind maxing it and deleteing for the maf(which I already did,Vipers write up) the codes and using PE to fuel since I can watch my wideband and scan guage for KR. I mean I'm not running that high of boost 10-12 PSI at the most. I also picked up a 3 core all ALM. radiator spports 1000 hp 2" thick with more fins per sq/ inch and has tranny line hook ups so I hope to cool down ECT's and tranny temps since I have a B&M supercooler too and since it holds more fluid, I don't want to worry about it this summer in the heat. With the low boost and running meathanol I think I should be fine, since it is all programable. So will see, I ordered the wrong controller from coolingmist and had to send it back I got a N/A one and they are sending me the boost one I need. Great guys to work with over there, they actually pointed it out to me that I got the wrong kit when I was asking them questions on it, so great thanks to them.
