I have this type of regulator, http://www.controlair.com/regulators/850_860reg.html

Snagged it up from work since it was apart of an assembly that was being replaced due to a separate part being damaged.

Since I have an external dual port actuated wastegate as most or all of use turbo'd guys here have, I believe this could be an adequate boost controller. I think some website had a similar one priced from like 20-30 bucks, plus a couple of fittings and vacuum line.. I believe it would be a better controller than the famous DIY control. However, you have to have dual ports.

You lift the top knob, twist it to adjust boost, and press it down to lock it in place. It just seems to have more reliability than a jam nut. And best of all I got it for free. Works from 1psi up to like 120psi which I'll never come close to.

So what are your guys' thoughts? Think it'll work? Maybe not?

I've got a bit more tuning to do before I increase the boost because after I revamped my turbo piping my LTFT's have been adding fuel. So that's good, it's showing gains with the new pipes. So I have to buy a new wideband sensor so I can tune. Currently my stoich reads 16..... Nice.... Anyways, that allows for a bit of time for debates on this controller.

Good inginuity on your part though

lmao, hah! wtf is that so expensive for?! The regulator I have is actually from an automatic tire inflation system. That's a crazy price though. That bracket must be made from some spacecraft grade material.
