Just got the BOV and pipe. Looks to be good quality. The powerdyne should be here this week too. :)
Do i need to put a small air filter on the bov? I've heard of people doing this is it necessary?
The way I understand it is if the BOV does not leak, then you should not need a filter, because it only opens when you let off the throttle and all that air is forced out, not letting anything in, and is sealed the rest of the time.
Thats how I understand it.
You could put a filter on it for peace of mind though I suppose...
Thanks man. I went up to autozone and glanced around at the little filters they had. None would fit and the valve cover breather filters are too large. Hope it does not leak.
^ Yeah, that nut on the stud on top is so you can adjust it so it doesn't leak, (again, how I understand it) so I think unless its completely faulty we should be able to adjust it just how we want them.
Nice. have you figured out where you are going to run your intake pipe. Im thinking about relocating the battery and using that space for it. Is this possible. Its just a theory, becuase I dont have the thing yet heh.
You got the angled TB or straight? I have the angled (its a 97) So my plan is to clock the discharge to point straight at the TB and go in and 90* onto the TB. It will end up being worse than a 90* angle, because the TB angles towards the drivers side, and the piping is coming from the passenger side, but we will see if it works.
For intake I am going to 90* down off my fender-well SLP cai and then pipe under the TB and 90* back up to the intake on the charger. At least this is my plan...lol.
I have the straight throttle body. So I guess its a little different. Im going to try to incorporate my K&N FIPK into the set up. We will see when I get the bracket so I can mount it up. Man i cant wait!
Good news. Got the discharge to TB piping done tonight. I used similar piping to what you probably will. I ended up clocking the discharge towards the drivers side and slightly down. Then went straight off of it for ~3 inches then 90* up, put in the BOV, then 90* into the TB.

Here's some pics of my V6 FIPK modified to fit the powerdyne.
Very clean! Thats pretty much what I had in mind. Im going to try to mount the filter where the battery is now though to try to minimize the bending. Dont even know if that possible.
I wish I had a digital camara back when I had mine with my XS BOV it was bad@ss esp. driving in a parking garage the whine of the powerdyne was outstanding.
