    you need to buy the 3 coil interfaces to make the job easier. I wouldnt recommed the dis-4 unless you get the fuel pump and injectors upgraded. The schematic is no different from the one that came with the ignition. Hope that helps. Be more specific.

      Heres a stupid question:

      What is this MSD DIS for?
      Hell - what does it stand for?

        heh, well I have all that plus much more, CIUs aren't required as the guy I bougght the ign from didn't use them.
        I got it used and it came without instructions..If I had the wiring schematic I woudln't need to ask for it now would I? ;)

        thx anyway

          btw its an ignition upgrade.
          increases spark, gives you control of 2 rev limiters, you can retard timing for nitrous or other forced inductions also ;)

          it probably does other stuff too lol

              I have got it. Now my setup is a little corky in the sense that i have two taller coil pack adapters and then one slim one. The two tall ones have wires coming out the look like this:
              + -
              ****
              + -
              while the slim one looks like: * *
              * *

              So the slim one is closest to the water pump, ie the lowest and will be labeled #1 followed by 2 and 3 being the upper most coil pack.

              Coil 1
              + -
              b/g * * b/w
              red * * white

              Coil 2
              + -
              * * * *
              b/o red grn b/g

              Coil 3
              + -
              * * * *
              b/y yel red b/o

                Stupid auto format screwed up how the pins look. The thin one has two on top of two others, verticaly.

                You WILL ABSOLUTELY NEED COIL PACKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                I spend countless hours trying toget the damn thing to work without them and only ended up screwin all of my harness up so don't do it!!!!

                Just spend the money and buy the packs. Trust me.

                Shoot the questions away.

                  CIUs you mean?

                  I bought the system off Rich D, and he didn't use them.....I'll try it regardless hehe.

                    that schematic doesn't make much sense to me lol...can you put it in this format?:

                    coil number/a or b/ up or low

                    like the drawing in the link I put in the original post has on it. it would make things much easier.

                    I can't believe noone has made a schematic for a 3.4 yet, I know every single 3.4 guy that installs one of these goes through the same ordeal, figured someone would have a nice how to done by now lol. I'll make one if noone else does by the time Im done ;)

                      I was going to make one but since i had different cui's and i figured it would just confuse peole more. Let me try and make more sense out of it.

                      Channel 1
                      A b/g
                      A red
                      B b/w
                      B white

                      Channel 2
                      Here is where i run into the problem of explaining this. I don't know which leads are a or b and all i have is what was written down previously.

                        I found James Montigny's old wiring diagram, :D

                        I'll put it online for reference.

                        thanks
