  • need a new 3.8

my current 3.8 has 156k on it and instead of going through the headache of swaping it out for a ls1, im going to put a newer 3.8 in its place. can anyone give me a good web site to order new/used 3.8 engines?

    thanks.

Did the engine go? Your sig still says running, so why are you looking into a new engine when the other one still runs?

it has an intermitten problem with misfiring, cutting off, and not starting. ive tried fixing it many times and took it to a couple dealers who couldnt find the problem. i want to keep this car around for at least another 3 years so i figure it will cost me less in the long run to just buy a newer engine.

Try doing the ZZP Stroker Rebuild Kit. That would be awsome!

Doing a zzp stroker kit would not fix his problem. And if hes going to spend that much i think the headache ls1 would be a better idea.

I will second that with Trans Am Creations. Or if you want a new one, head on over to http://www.gmgoodwrench.com/perfpart...on=ce&cat=9274 They might have what you want
