  • Is this Fuel Pump any good?

If not, where can I find a decent fuel pump? I am planning on doing a motor swap to a LS1 with a mild cam and heads, looking for around 400RWHP... That or I'm doing a Turbo setup, but most likely the motor swap.

The most popular options tend to be the Walbro 255 or the Racetronix fuel pump.

          Walbro 255: $139

          Racetronix: $150

But there are other less expensive options out there. These are just the two most common options for our cars.

I got my walbro 255 high flow pump off ebay for about $110 shipped. On my 96' it was plug & play for wiring and I ditched the bucket and used 2 hose clamps to attach everything together. been working fine for 7 years.

If it makes any difference, the pump that comes with the racetronix kit is a walbro 255. I personally really like the racetronix kit because you don't have to deal with the f'n bucket, or glueing it back together. Which also means you can install it within an hour if you go the trap door route.
