  • Turbo, Supercharge or.....V-8 swap

Ok, I'm assuming that 'V-8' is a bad word around here. And in spite of my log in name, wanna b a z, I don't really want that. My car is sweet as it is. But...I want more for it. Don't need any body or interior mods of any sort, so the only place left is more power! I really would appreciate some suggestions from anyone that has made some to the V-6. I have made the usual swap for a K&N filter and and other eye wash goodies and while it looks really neat, that's all it is....neat! So there it is! Thanks for any suggestions.

then u can decide on a s/c or turbo... bc that will determine wht kind of cam and internals you need

      also gears and posi help

v8 isnt a bad word, its just that a swap isnt that cost effective

There alot of work to be done with suspension, shocks/springs,SFC's, TQ arm, Panhard rod arm, LCA's ,sway bars front/rear, Tub. K member,Tub. lower/upper A arms, then weight reduction, also for interior lighter seats. And then 3" exhaust and so on , so theres still a ton to do. Then you can decide on if you want to keep the 3.8 and mod it which theres a lot of work or a v8 which is alot of work. Also do you have a mod list and some pics of your car?

Thanks - From the replies so far there seems to be quite a bit to do. That's good. So far all $'s have gone to look good things and not performance things. Never thought about cam, etc. Drivetrain now is completely stock, so there is much that can be done.
