I used the system that you could buy way back when... it was spread out over 3 oil changes... it might work well if you use it every so often on a new engine... but on an engine as cheap as the 3800 it's not worth it... if you used it in every oil change for a year, you would have spent almost as much on Zmax as you would on a low mileage 3800...
Rebuilding the engine... Building a custom front end... T-top conversion... Custom rear hatch..
Custom interior...
They had a lawsuit against them if you search the product , I would just stick to seafoam and save $30. If your using RP your already adding the best oil ,I don't see anything else helping it anymore.

carol shelby endorses the stuff, and you know he will stick his name on anything now days.
The product is all marketing.
They advertise that it works because it soaks into the metal? So what stops it from soaking straight through your engine?
Carol Shelby would put his name on a Kia with a Cobra emblem if he thought he could make a buck.

I saw a report where they chemically analyzed Zmax. They said it was mineral oil (Intestinal Lubricant is another name for it on the drugstore shelf) and food coloring. IMHO it's what comes out of the OTHER end of the snake they get snake oil from.

Thats why they had a big lawsuit against them, but if z38camaro likes it, it must be the best. May even bore and stroke your engine at the same time you use it= more power.LOL
