Cricket in the trunk

What the heck is that cricket sounding noise coming from the trunk of my car? Im not sure if anyone has it but it is so annoying I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix it the only way I have fixed it was by turning up the radio.

I have the same thing and it drives me up the wall...some say it's the jack, but I still can't find it :mad:

I rubbed a little motor oil on those bushings [img]graemlins/thumbsup.gif[/img]

i put a little white lithium on the hatch shocks and latch, that fixed it for me
