Looks like that is where the IAT sensor goes.

Look around for a loose wire on the side of the engine where the hole in the intake tubing is. The sensor might still be plugged into the wire and you can just put it back in.

IAT stands for Intake Air Temperature
Measures the temperature of the incoming air.

EDIT: Make sure it is in there securely...you don't want it falling out again.

GET THE ONE FROM RKSPORT. i replaced mine with that. it was about $20 and it was supposed to add like 5-7 hp. i didnt really notice that much of a difference. but every little bit helps, ya know?

I'm guessing this is a waste. Does keep the computer thinking its a certain temp. all the time? You can do the same thing with a 10 cent resistor, but i just asked about it and most people said its not even worth it.

I'm a pretty strong advocate of not messing with the IAT sensor. But if you do, certainly not for 30 bucks and don't expect to get 5 hp from it (more like 1, but only in really hot ambient temps).
