If anyone has any pictures of the backside of the engine where the coil bracket bolts to the block, could you please post up some pictures, my coil bracket was completly busted and just sitting on the valve cover vibrating when i bought it causing random misfires
so i bought a new coil bracket, but cant reach behind to find the damn bolts to unbolt the broken bracket so i can install the new one
There isnt a bracket on the back of it. There are two holes going straight down behind the coils, and one on the front that goes thru the engine lifting bracket. The three silver rings you see are the mounting points.
im sorry abou that, thats what i was referring to (lift bracket) since its the piece thats bolts behind the engine to the block, when i was searching and looking on ebay for a new one, they just had both pieces labled as coil mounting bracket

The lift bracket blots to the Front between the EGR valve and head on the drivers side and holds the coil bracket.
do you need a pic of what it looks like or where it bolts to, cause i can see you are getting no help.

the bracket that the plate bolts to, it goes behind the driver valve cover and bolts to the block i believe, but when i reach back there i cant find where at (even with the old broken piece still back there i think)
so i wanted/needed a picture of were it bolts up to back there, so i have a idea were i need to reach for.
but im thinking it might require the upper intake to be pulled off most likely but not sure...
no you dont have to pull the intake. sorry i have been busy, ill get you the pic so you can see, i have the heads off the car so i can get a pic of it.

Hey that's good info for me too. I didn't even know it was a bracket assembly like that. That'll definitely help when I eventually get deeper into my engine.
