  • Harmonic Balancer removal......

As I'm sure most of you have taken off your harmonic balancer for what ever reason, I would like to know how and what are the best methods and tools that you used?

and is there any special way of getting it back on??

    thanks a lot

need a pulley puller to get it off, as for installing it, no special tools, just line the key up and press back on

might need a breaker bar to get the crank bolt out if it is an older car. no need for a torque wrench

i wouldnt think so, you just need to find a way to get the engine to not spin while removing/installing the bolt

i usually just jam a big flathead screwdriver in the flywheel and that works fine
