    Its a stupid question but my shift knob does not wanna come off:rant:. Its an automatic and i wanna take it off so i can but a boot on it. If you can just let me no how THANKS!!!

    gotta remove the staple on the front of the knob. Put it into like 2nd or 3rd gear and you will see the staple you need to remove

      So on the automatic just put it in like 1st and its on the front of the shifter knob ?

        theres a c clip stable on the front of the knob, put it in 1st, use a flat head to pop it out, and then pull the knob straight up.
